Hi,thanks for all the nice comments.
I think she is now about as big as she is going to be give or take a few inches,I keep here in a 40 x 24 x 36 viv,any bigger and she stops eating, fussy cow!

This one spends most of her time on the ground tbh, although she ventures up on the perch as it gets closer to a feed,in fact I have often used this as a guide to her hunger.Following this routine she takes 2 large rats every 14-16 days.
The Irian Jaya carpet pythons(or west papuan as they are also known) are the smallest of the carpet pythons I believe, and they can be easily identified when babies by their rusty red colouring. They are known to tame well & are easy enough to keep and I would think they are the perfect introduction to keeping morelia.Having said that ,a CB jungle or even coastal if you have room would be fine too.
I got to be honest,I never had much interest in morelia myself for a lot of years, favouring Boa's and the larger pythons, but they have 'grown on me' if you like, and I now have a hankering for a nice partner for her,and one for my male scrub python too!
