i thought i'd start a diary to show the progress of my boas so that if anyone has the notion to breed them they can follow or check against if they would like to! BLOSSOM: Mated on several occaisions with with 3 males Jaz,Oddjob and Fudge on the 31/01/07 with Fudge then again on 14/02/07 with Jaz and the last mating was the 17/02/07 with Oddjob she ovulated in March about the 5th and had her post ovulatory slough on the 1st of April! She then started to bask heavily and started to fill out about three weeks ago she then stopped basking and prefers the cooler part of the viv curled up and is very quiet and just pops out for water she last fedin february and hasnt eaten since which is unusual because they tend to only not feed in the last two months and shes looking abit skinny at her top end she is looking huge at present and is due soon she has shown no sigh of a pre parturate slough like Emma has just had i will keep you all posted just check here for updates and follow the girls with their progress thanks for reading
still no babies i dont know what the hells going on (i hear master yoda in the back ground) patience you must learn patience hehe! Emma is still basking though and now a week after her pre parturate moult?????
antoher guy i speak to waited longer than usual for his boa to give birth. he waited and waited and wow! when they did turn up what a great bunch he had! so Ian just wait a little longer and you will soon have babies! bit like waiting for a pot to boil - the more u watch it the longer it takes lol!!!!!!!

I am praying for u Ian that the babas will arrive safely and soon, although it does kinda do yer heed in waiting lol, porcher is just not letting go of her iccle ones at all, just like your girls.
well all those girls are just having extra cuddles with their bubies before you two take em off em lol! mind you all the mums will probably be glad when they got their tummies back bless!

none today blossom is active and is tending to stay at the cooler end which is what they tend to do and he has plenty of hide to have em so whats goin on shes now a month out from my calculations grrrrrrrrrrr
well the babies are now a week old and are all now starting to cloud over! Both bella and tigger have eaten virtually straight away cos they hadnt eaten since february so who can blame them the only thing now is i wanna keep em all they are so docile more than any babies i ever had but they are very inquisitive too but not bitey!
